ROMANIA MOVES TO CUT OFF GAY MARRIAGE
With every passing day it seems that Eastern Europe is the true Europe. While the Western -- and especially the North Western -- part turns itself into a self-contradictory Muslim-and-gay-friendly cuck zone, the East continues to resist the vile sewage tides of political correctness and multiculturalism by refusing migrants and fake refugees and also giving short shrift to the idea that sticking a piss stick up a shit tube is a basis for marriage.
The latest news is that Roumania is getting ready to hold a referendum to amend the constitution to prohibit gay marriage. The move is sure to pass and will make it extremely difficult for any future government to impose gay marriage against the will of the people.
This may seem like an odd concern, as Romania’s civil code already forbids same-sex marriage and civil partnerships are not legal. But actually it makes a lot of sense, as it is always possible for some future debt-ridden, left-of-centre Romanian government to be pressurised into accepting gay marriage by international organizations and the cuck states that still dominate the EU, like France and Germany. This referendum will raise an additional barrier to that gruesome possibility.
The present government is in fact left-of-centre -- the Social Democratic Party (SDP) -- but even it has to support the move because anti-homosexualist feeling in Romania is strong, bolstered by the powerful Orthodox Church.
The SDP leader, Liviu Dragnea has pledged to amend the constitution to prevent homo-marriage ever becoming a possibility, even though he admits this will cause problems with the EU, which has an overtly pro-homosexualist agenda.

"This is an issue of immense depth," Dragnea told reporters last month. "Even if some of my colleagues in Brussels are unhappy with what is happening in Romania, we will make it happen."
The planned vote, which is expected to be held in November, is the result of a campaign by the umbrella group “Coalition for Family,” which brings together more than 40 religious or secular "pro-life" groups. The group got three million signatures to petition for the referendum.
The group is part of a growing political movement that is aware of the way that Western NGOs, funded by globalist, White-hating billionaires like George Soros and supported by anti-democratic organisations like the EU, seek to undermine family values while promoting mass immigration. Essentially the Coalition for Family is "woke." This is clear in a statement on the group's website that reads:
"We have the constitutional right and moral obligation to defend the family from those tendencies of modern society which diminish its importance and accelerate its degradation."
The only political party opposing the referendum is the Union to Save Romania (USR), a suspiciously new party that grew out of an urban renewal campaign in Bucharest and is centred almost totally in the capital and among young professionals, exactly the demographic that is most easily co-opted by globalist tropes and foreign NGOs.
