ICYMI, we did the royal wedding thing over the weekend, covering the wedding of Hereditary Prince Ernst August of Hanover and Ekaterina Malysheva in Germany. Elsewhere:

--In Paris, Dior is celebrating its 70th anniversary with an enormous exhibition at the Musée des Arts Décoratifs. Dior, Couturier des Reves (Designer of Dreams) includes such royal treats as a gown worn by Princess Margaret and the famous Galliano slip dress worn by Diana, Princess of Wales to the Met Gala. --While you are in museum mode in France, check out Hubert de Givenchy at the Museum of Lace and Fashion in Calais. It features some of the creations Givenchy made for the Duchess of Windsor, including the black coat and veil she wore to her husband's funeral.
